This was my latest letter to the editor that was actually published in the Herald Sun (ew i know) on Friday 29th May:

Faced with major cases of hypochondria, swarms of people are now rushing to the emergency room at any sign of affliction. A sneeze, a sniff or a scratchy throat, caused by the fact that, oh I don’t know, its WINTER, are now a virtual death sentence in what I like to call the ‘swine flusteria’. What about those with real medical emergencies who cannot be treated, because hospital administrators can’t hear over the terrified screams of the masses who are suffering from, oh yes, a common cold.
